Bataan may replicate the “LAB For All” in Samal town, the medical mission launched recently at the Bataan People’s Center by First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos making it the first municipality to launch such a feat.

Governor Joet Garcia in his message during the start of “Bisita Bayan” in Samal on Monday told Mayor Alex Acuzar that he had already talked with the First Lady about the plan of the provincial government to hold the same medical mission where medical apparatus and gadgets were brought to serve the local residents’ medical needs. “Baka puwedeng ibaba natin sa mga rural health units at para sa ating mga kababayan, puwede nating i-pilot ang Samal,” the governor said.

The recipients of medical assistance were based on the community-based monitoring system (CBMS) template of every municipality. Garcia requested the municipal government to update the previously identified recipients of medical assistance to avoid redundancy and to make the project more efficient.
